The Yale Cancer Center and Department of Medical Oncology invite applications from board-certified/board eligible medical and hematology oncologists for the position of Medical Director of the Clinical Trials Office. The incumbent should have a demonstrated academic record consistent with the level of Associate Professor at Yale Medical School. In addition to being an active clinical care physician, this position has responsibility for overseeing protocol review and development, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and business functions of the CTO and will be supported by the Associate Director of the CTO in carrying out these functions. Of particular importance is experience in participating as an investigator in clinical research and in managing a clinical research infrastructure. This position involves research activities, expectations for participating in the teaching mission, and a commitment to clinical medicine. Women and minority candidates are urged to apply.
