Summary Description: The Graduate School of Business at Columbia University is seeking to fill at least one faculty position. The appointment may be at the assistant, associate, or full professor level, depending on the qualifications of the candidate. Specialists in any field of macroeconomics, monetary economics, open economy macroeconomics, or macroeconomic aspects of international trade are invited to apply. All junior applicants must have strong research backgrounds or demonstrate substantial potential for performing important academic research in a field with relevance to business practice. Successful applicants will also demonstrate the potential to teach effectively in a MBA classroom. All senior applicants must have a proven record of strong research and exceptional teaching records In addition, we will consider applications for one-year visiting faculty positions in this area. Appointments for one-year visiting faculty position may be made in the grades of visiting professor, visiting associate professor, and visiting assistant professor, depending on the qualification of the candidate.
Minimum Qualifications: All junior applicants must have strong research backgrounds or demonstrate substantial potential for performing important academic research in a field.
